"I had to wait a couple days upon my return from the Sandy Valley Ranch in order to come out of my "high" from my incredible cowboy week-end experience.

I spent three days and two nights at Sandy Valley Ranch with my college friends, Raina and Cass. Robert and Margie provided us a surreal experience with horses, cows, wine, food, lassos, and guns. I had the time of my life.

My cowgirl buddies and I spent a day and a half, ridin',ropin', herdin', and shootin'. As well as pennin', cuttin' cows, sleepin' and eatin' good grub. We did not feel hurried and we did get a real taste of what it is like to be on the cattle drive.

I got several of those whiley skeets and lassoed that ornry horned saw horse too! And, oh, chasing those long-horn cattle through the thorney mesquite in my chaps...What a hoot! Go cow!
