ITINERARY & RULES
- Pick up by our Transportation Wrangler at your hotel.
- 45 minute drive to the Ranch during which you will hear stories of the Ranch and learn about the plants, animals and geology of the Mojave.
- A warm Western welcome and riding instruction from one of our wranglers.
- After some basic riding and cattle herding instruction you'll mount our well-trained horses and head out for a trail ride.
- When you return to the Ranch you'll learn how to move and sort cattle in our professional arenas.
- Then you'll enjoy a tasty Cowboy meal in our cozy Ranch House.
- The afternoon begins with a cattle drive with our herd of ornery cows.
- Then you'll enjoy some cowboy games followed by a hearty dinner.
- You'll end the day around the campfire where there will be singing and cowboy poetry.

For the safety of our riders and our horses, we strictly adhere to the following rules and restrictions.
- Riders cannot wear open-toed shoes. Smooth-soled shoes with a heel are preferred.
- Video cameras may not be used during the ride.
- Riders must be under 250 lbs. *
- Riders cannot be pregnant.
- Riders must speak reasonable English. **
- Riders must be physically and mentally sound.
* Most people are not aware that horses are only designed to carry one-tenth their body weight. So that we can maintain the health of our horses, we must restrict the weight of the riders.
** While riding, riders must be able to understand verbal commands. Riders who cannot understand basic commands may not be able to ride.
